Impacting Generations: Expanded Services for Prenatal Survivor Care

Imagine surviving the unimaginable and then being told there’s no place for you because you’re pregnant. This is the heartbreaking reality for too many survivors of sex trafficking in Texas.
Trafficking is a multi-billion dollar criminal industry, exploiting over 6.7 million people worldwide. For survivors who escape, the trauma doesn’t end, especially for those facing pregnancy without safe housing or care.
A Mission That Matters
An Atlas Free Network Member in Texas is expanding services to meet this urgent need. For the past three years, pregnant survivors were turned away simply because there wasn’t a dedicated space for them.
Housing pregnant survivors alongside others can re-trigger trauma, as many clients have faced forced abortions or the devastating loss of children. These women deserve care designed for their unique journey.
This project will create a safe, trauma-informed space for pregnant survivors complete with prenatal care, counseling, and the dignity of preparing for motherhood free from fear.
